Please be advised that Mercure Sydney will have refurbishments done between June 2011 to June 2012.

There will be soft refurbishments to the rooms:
- New carpet
- New bathroom flooring
- Painting in the bedroom
- Mirrors and pictures added
- New chair
- New pillows
- Change blinds
- Shower screen instead of curtain

Construction for a building on a vacant lot near the hotel is about to commence. There is no direct works within the hotel building.

No on-site impact of guests. Road access may be modified / controlled at times.
Some noise expected during construction hours, mainly in initial phase.

» The Sebel Manly Beach

A schedule for refurbishment of all bathrooms and balconies at The Sebel Manly Beach has been confirmed for March to November 2012.

1) 1st March 2012:
The 2012 program will commence in the South Tower with the completion of the 2nd floor bathrooms and refurbishment to guest rooms.
The balcony tiles will be replaced on the 4th floor and some rooms on the 1st floor.
The entry to the South Tower will also have all tiles replaced.
This will complete the South Tower completely into the new style other than 2 privately owned rooms.
This program is scheduled to last about 8-10 weeks in the South Tower.

2) May/June 2012:
The North Tower program will be across 5th, 6th, 7th floors and will include the redesign and removal of existing bathrooms and refurbishment of the rooms as per the existing standard in the South Tower.
All balcony tiles will be removed and replaced and all sliding doors will be replaced at the same time.
The entry canopy to the hotel will be removed and all floor tiles replaced.
