Gosford City Council is moving towards a new vision for the CBD as a ‘Living City’ and is encouraging composite retail / commercial / residential developments. Combine this with its close proximity to Sydney and Newcastle and it's no wonder Gosford has become one of the most popular living areas and successful CBDs of the Central Coast region.
The NSW Government is currently re-developing Gosford Hospital at a cost of $125 million and concentrating on the City Link Health precinct, uniting all medical facilities in our area as Gosford is a major centre for health services.
There is also a proposed establishment of a fast ferry service to operate between the Central Coast and Sydney will be competitively priced in fares compared to the train service, and a significantly faster time resulting in a 32 to 35 minute trip, also linking the waterside suburbs with the CBD.
The largest club in the region, the Central Coast Leagues Club, has begun plans to add a 350 room International hotel and conference centre to its existing location.
Along with these other developments there are also plans for medium and high level density residential estates to be developed to be able to cope with the growing number of people that are slowly making the move to the Central Coast.
If you are interested in any of these developments that are taking place within the city of Gosford please feel free to contact us at any time to ask any questions that you may have.
