Comprising of 72 guestrooms, the Lodge offers an indulgent selection of 4 1/2 star twin, queen and king deluxe rooms, family rooms and suites designed to allow guests to enjoy the ambience of relaxed luxury.

Formerly Hunter Valley Gardens Lodge and winner of Best Deluxe Accommodation in NSW, Mercure Resort Hunter Valley Gardens is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens with spectacular vineyard and mountain views.

Dining is always a pleasure at the award-winning Lazzarini's. You will feel right at home in the relaxed atmosphere of this restaurant, which boasts a large open fireplace and colourful art-covered walls. Serving sumptuous, authentic Tuscan fare, complemented by friendly service and a variety of superb Italian and Australian wines, Lazzarini's is open seven days a week for dinner and lunch on weekends.

Adjacent to the Mercure Resort Hunter Valley Gardens is the newest state-of-the-art 250-seat conference and function centre in the Hunter Valley which is by far the most impressive. The new centre boasts 4 metre high ceilings, total blackout rooms, natural lighting, dimmable lighting in each section of main auditorium, large reception/breakout area, fully air-conditioned, internal sound system and a full range of AV equipment upon request. Adjoining the new centre are current conference and function facilities allowing 200+ delegates to move from the new centre straight to lunch/dinner. The beautiful courtyard which adjoins both facilities has valley views, seating and is perfect for pre-dinner drinks, registration or tea and coffee breaks. All conference facilities are connected to the accommodation by covered walkways.

Each room is beautifully appointed and opens out to a private balcony or courtyard, taking in the wonderful Valley views and magnificent gardens surrounding the property. Guests can avail themselves of our tennis courts, resort-style swimming pool, sauna, spa, the Lodge library and many other facilities including the Hunter Valley Gardens Village and the recently launched display gardens.

Presidential Suite: Individually designed and decorated with stylish antiques, tasteful art pieces and African artefacts, this room offers a standard of luxury that is second to none. The Presidential Suite has a 15-foot cathedral ceiling, dining room and spacious living area catering for up to 6 people. The private terrace overlooks the Mediterranean style pool area and gardens.

Library Suite: The meticulously appointed Library Suite features its own library, spa and fireplace as well as a 15-foot cathedral ceiling. The wet bar and microwave makes this area conjunctive for entertaining. The large private terrace overlooks the championship sized tennis courts.

Studio Room: These comfortable, well-appointed rooms each offer their own private balconies and terraces. King or twin bedding is available along with interconnecting 'family rooms'.
