The Aalberg is a modern lodge built in 1990 & is close to Nuggets Crossing shopping centre in Central Jindabyne in the heart of the Snowy Mountains. The Aalberg is 15 minutes drive to the ski tube or 25 minutes drive to Perisher Blue Ski Resort or Thredbo ski fields.

Full Hot Breakfast: Get ready for a great day's skiing & boarding with a hearty breakfast consisting of buffet style continental breakfast (toast, fruit, cereal, yoghurt, juice, tea & coffee). 3 Course Dinner: No need to wash up or think about cooking because they do it all for you at The Aalberg. After a great day of skiing, enjoy a drink at their licensed bar, relax by the fire in the guest lounge, all before a well earned 3 course meal in their fully licensed restaurant. Their a la carte menu provides you with a wide selection of meals including Salt and Pepper Squid, Lamb Korma Curry and Whole Trout baked in Lemon, Garlic, Wine and Parsley.

The Aalberg has 17 guest rooms, their rooms can accommodate from 2 - 5 people through a mixture of twin/double rooms right through to large family rooms, which can be configured to suit your requirements; (doubles or queens for couples or singles if required).
All beds are ensemble beds - no bunks at The Aalberg for your comfort and a good nights sleep. The Aalberg was extensively refurbished over summer 1999/2000. Since then they have upgraded the property gradually each year.
Location Information:
Jindabyne, the perfect base for visitors to the Snowy Mountains' winter wonderland of snowboarding and skiing, is around half-an-hour from Perisher Blue and Thredbo.
Naturally, the town comes alive during the colder months, when visitors take advantage of ski hire, a variety of places to eat, a contemporary cinema showing up-to-the-minute films and a range of accommodation from caravan parks through to fully-serviced resorts.
In summer you can enjoy water-skiing, mountain biking and the lush green landscape that comes into full bloom with the warmer weather.
Things to do & See- Eucumbene Trout Farm: Take a guided tour of the trout farm and see all stages of growth as you wander through the hatching and growing areas. Catch mountain trout ... guaranteed, in the "Sure Catch" fishing pond.
- The Alpine Way: Take a scenic drive along this delightful road that winds through the Snowy Mountains to Khancoban offering spectacular views of the mountains.
- Crackenback Cottage: A historic award-winning restaurant, bar, craft shop and maze. Pony rides and animal farm for the kids. Good coffee, fabulous food, tasteful crafts and huge log fires for the bigger people. Have a wander through the maze, it's great.
- Horseriding: The Jindabyne region is a great place for horse riding enthusiasts. Ride at the Snowy River Run Horse Race and Ride or the Mountain Muster.
