The Blue Mountains City Council has ensured that any developments within Leura fall into the strict guidelines of the town with heritage colours used throughout.
As part of the Great Western Highway upgrade program, the Roads and Traffic Authority is about to commence construction works to widen the existing two-lane highway between Leura and Katoomba to a four-lane divided highway. Construction is expected to take 18 months to two years and is fully funded by the NSW State Government.
Artazan have been appointed as Project Managers to manage the tender process, the appointment of Contractor and the construction phase for the proposed executive residence located in a prime position in Sublime Point, Leura in the Blue Mountains.
Apart from these new development that is taking place, Leura still remains the same as it has for many years. The locals that call this beautiful part of the Blue Mountains home love this town for its simplicity and unique as it has not yet been touch by commercialism of the bigger businesses.
However the neighbouring town of Katoomba is constantly changing to keep up with the growing amount of interest in the town. Many people love to visit Leura as it is peaceful and tranquil without the rushing sounds of cars and all you can hear it the wind blowing in the trees and the birds chirping away. It is a little slice of heaven right here on earth.
