Breeze Restaurant & Bar offers a variety of options daily. At breakfast select from the comprehensive buffet with the option of fresh eggs cooked to order. Lunchtime the menu has been designed for people on the go so choices may include Smoked salmon panini with cucumber, avocado, rocket and caper mayonnaise or Sirloin steak sandwich with rocket, roma tomatoes, caramelised onion jam and homestyle chips. The dinner setting is matched by the contemporary seasonal menu of Chef John Leadbitter offering dishes like Scallops with lemon chermoula and citrus oil, and Seared grain-fed beef tenderloin on a chive truffle potato cake with baby spinach and Hunter Shiraz jus.

Accommodation Information:

Crowne Plaza Newcastle comprises 175 one-bedroom suites with an average size of 37 square metres, mostly with queen-size beds and double sofa beds and a separate living area. Individual climate control, full minibar facilities, superior bathrooms and a breakfast bar complete with crockery and cutlery are standard in all suites.

Queen City Suite: One-bedroom suite with a queen-size bed, looking towards the city. Room contains separate living area, tea and coffee-making facilities, breakfast bar, complimentary cable TV, fax / modem lines, desk, dual modem connection, in-room safe and individual climate control. Sofa bed option is available.

Queen Harbourside Suite: One-bedroom suite with a queen-size bed, offering views of the working harbour. Additionally, 23 Club Spa Suites offer king beds and spa baths. Most of these suites have doors leading onto viewing balconies.

Disabled Rooms: The hotel has seven disabled rooms, all with harbourside views. All disabled suites contain a queen-size bed and sofa bed and are wheelchair accessible. The bathroom has a wheel-in shower, appropriate hand railings and raised toilet seat with grab bars. Light switches have been placed lower throughout the suite, a secondary lower door view port is installed and Teletext is available on the television.

Smoking and Non-Smoking Rooms: The hotel has 13 smoking City Suites on the 2nd floor and an additional three suites on the Club Floor. The remainder of the hotel is non-smoking.
