The weather throughout the year for The Entrance on the central coast is close to exceptional, so for a holiday it is the perfect place to come to! Located on the Central Coast of New South Wales it is easily accessible from both Newcastle and Sydney. With just an hour’s drive from both cities along the Pacific Highway it is easy to reach this beautiful seaside town. There are also daily flights, trains and coach buses that arrive into Newcastle from where you can hire a rental car to travel the rest of the distance to The Entrance.
The waters are a warm and crystal blue and the days can be spent outdoors in the sun doing all the activities and seeing the many attractions that this town boasts. From swimming, boating, fishing, diving and an array of water sports will keep you occupied and having a ball of a time.
During the summer months the temperatures are a comfortable average of around 28 degrees with slight humidity but with the beautiful waters the fringe these shores what a perfect way to cool off. In the cooler winter months temperatures can drop to around 13 degrees and have a cold breeze coming from the south that can make it quite crisp and fresh. It is always best to pack in some warmer clothes for these months but you can still expect the sun to be beaming down no matter what.
