Kasees Apartments
Kasees is noted for its warm and friendly mountain lodge atmosphere. In the style of traditional mountain lodges, it has a guest lounge with large log fire, piano, music, board games and books for a relaxing apres-ski. The lounge is also a great place to curl up on bad weather days.
They also have a traditional Finnish sauna for reviving and relaxing after an energetic or cold day on the slopes or mountain (winter or summer). It is available for use by guests from mid afternoon to evening.
Kasees features balconies and windows with fantastic views of the mountain and valley, a great place to view the Thredbo flare run on Saturday nights or a great place for a pre-dinner drink in the setting sun in summer.
Also a well established and sheltered garden which flowers all summer and includes a covered BBQ and garden furniture.
Banjo Townhouses
Banjo Townhouses are located on Banjo Drive next door to Kasees Apartments.

The village shuttle bus stops directly outside the Lodge in winter for easy access to the ski slopes, though being centrally located in the village directly opposite Mt Crackenback means it is only a 5 minute walk to the Valley Terminal building which is the base for the Kosciuszko Express chairlift and houses the ticket office for lifts and sporting facilities, ski hire, retail and tuning, and doctors surgery. The tennis courts, bobsled, mountain bike hire, golf course and AIS/Thredbo Training Centre (gym, squash court, sports hall, swimming pool) are also a short walk away.

Kasees
All Apartments consist of 1 bedroom plus a bed-sitting room and there is one studio apartment. They comprise of 6 apartments that can take 2, 3 or 4 persons, one studio apartment for 2 and one apartment that takes 4 - 5 persons.
All apartments come with bathroom and kitchen. Kitchens are equipped with stove, microwave convection oven, refrigerator, cookware and utensils. Each apartment has a new TV/DVD and clock radio.
All apartments face the mountain and have stunning views. They also have balcony/outdoor access.
Banjo
The townhouses comprise of one and two bedroom apartments with loft. Every apartment has a stunning view of the mountain, and the 2 bedroom with loft units have their own wood burning slow combustion fires.
Location Information:
Thredbo offers a wide range of activities for the sportive as well as the less active. In non-winter months the most popular activity is catching the Crackenback Express chairlift and making the 6.5km walk (13km round trip) to the summit of Mt. Kosciuszko. There are other range, mountain and valley walks that are directly accessed from the village and chairlift.
Thredbo has mountain bike hire, tennis courts, a 9 hole golf course, bobsled ride, AIS/Thredbo Alpine Training Centre with gym, squash, sports hall, climbing wall, pool with 25 & 50 metre lanes and a slide for the kids.
River fly fishing, white water rafting, horse riding, climbing and abseiling can all be organised for the Thredbo valley or surrounds.
During summer and autumn there are numerous sporting and cultural events including the Mountain Bike Fat Tyre Festival, National Runners Week, State Series Triathlon and Blues Festival in January, and Jazz festival in May, . Thredbo is a very popular Easter holiday destination, as well as being a prime choice for weddings.
Thredbo is a great base for visiting the Snowy Mountains Hydro-electric Scheme as well as other well known features of the Kosciuszko National Park such as Yarrangobilly Caves.
For those aiming to 'do nothing' Kasees offers a beautiful treed and flowering garden for relaxing and reading and making the most of the mountain sunshine.
In winter, aside from downhill skiing, boarding and telemarking, Thredbo is a great base for cross-country and snow-shoeing on the main range. Night skiing is possible two evenings a week, and on Saturday evening the famous flare run can be seen from the balconies of Kasees.
