Travelling in Australia will require you to plan ahead of the kind of accommodation you need. In this post, I
The Smiggins Chalet Apartments is just across the slope from the Smiggins Hotel and while you are not staying there you are still welcome to make use of all the hotel has to offer its guests and visitors such as a café to grab a quick bite it eat in, cocktail bar to enjoy a refreshing beverage with friends or a restaurant to sink you teeth into a fantastic tasting meal. You can also use their internet terminals, guest laundry, guest lounge area and the sauna and massage parlour.
At the Matterhorn you will not only have all of the above but you are just a stones throw from the lifts being only 250m away, open log fire for those really cold night and Oversnow Transfers.
The Corroboree Lodge being only 200m from the lifts has everything to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. This charming comfortable lodge is an excellent location with fabulous views of the Snowy Mountains and also features a very popular restaurant and bar.
Located in the heart of Perisher, The Stables Resort has panoramic views over Perisher Valley and is approximately 300m to the Perisher Skitube Terminal. Luxury, self-catering chalets nestled around the restaurant and bar, what more could you ask for when arranging you luxury Perisher Valley accommodation.
Getting to Perisher Valley is just too easy whether you go by Air, Coach or Self-drive. Most Airlines service the Canberra Airport from all the major Australian cities. And then from here you will just need to catch a connecting flight to the Cooma Airport and simply just jump onto the Snowy Mountains Express Shuttle that will take you directly to your chosen place of Perisher valley accommodation. Though if you wish to just sit back and let someone else do the driving while you take in the splendour of the Snowy Mountains, just book a coach ticket with any of the major bus companies that operate all through Australia. But if taking your time and doing things your own way interests you, hire a car if you don’t already have one from Europcar and navigate you way through the Kosciusko National Park to Jindabyne and from here you are only 33km from Perisher Valley.
If you are interested in any of these fabulous establishments for your next holiday in the snow then please feel free to contact your friendly and helpful staff for more information or to book you holiday for you.
