You have a choice between approximately 32 different styles of accommodation within the vicinity of Mount Selwyn. There are three sections where the accommodation is located at and they are Adaminaby, Old Adaminaby and Anglers Reach. When staying at either Old Adaminaby or Anglers Reach you are not more than 35mins from the ski slopes and just a little more down the road you will find Adaminaby being 40mins. Where ever you do decide to stay, you will have your own private parking to accommodate you car, 4WD or boat for those keen fishermen that want to sample to trout fishing that is on hand.
Selwyn Snowfields, in New South Wales, is the most affordable snowfield making it a fantastic destination for families and anyone else that may be travelling on a budget. Though don’t be deceived that just because you are not paying as much as the other ski resorts in surrounding areas, you are never doing without anything that they may offer.
Mount Selwyn is just a short drive from Canberra making it roughly a 2 hour drive by car. You can catch a flight to Canberra and from here it is really easy to hire a car through Europcar and self-drive. Though you will have to organise to pay your park fees at one of the three different points of the National Park before entering. All of the major bus services will be able to take you directly into Mount Selwyn and drop you at your place of accommodation.
