The centrally located Jindabyne accommodation, in the Snowy Mountains, is the perfect place to base yourself when going on a skiing holiday as you can choose from any of the surrounding ski slopes in New South Wales such as Thredbo and Perisher Valley. The Alpine Way and the Kosciusko Road are the two links between the slopes making it very accessible by car or shuttle bus. You also have the option of taking the underground Skitube to either of the two ski slopes.
Jindabyne, also know as Jindy, is less than a three hour drive from Canberra and just over an easy 6 hour drive from Sydney. And once you have reached your destination the ski slopes of either Perisher or Thredbo are only 30mins away.
